Seller-facing policy | Effective date: 10/12/2026 | Last updated: 10/30/2026
This policy explains who may sell on Cross Your Arts, what products and listings may appear, and the conduct required of sellers. It supports Cross Your Arts’ Christian-focused marketplace mission and helps provide shoppers with a safe, trustworthy experience. It applies to seller applications, shops, products, listings, communications, orders, and seller use of Cross Your Arts. It supplements the Cross Your Arts Terms and Conditions and Seller Agreement. If a term conflicts, applicable law controls; the Seller Agreement controls payment and other matters it specifically addresses.
1. Marketplace mission and seller eligibility
Cross Your Arts is a Christian-focused marketplace for faith-inspired products, arts, gifts, and related goods. Products and listing content must fit the categories and content standards Cross Your Arts publishes for the marketplace. Cross Your Arts welcomes shoppers regardless of faith. An applicant’s or seller’s personal religious beliefs, identity, or church membership are not eligibility requirements. Cross Your Arts evaluates the shop, products, listings, and conduct against the published marketplace rules, not the applicant’s personal faith.
To be considered, an applicant must provide complete and accurate information and be able to meet the requirements that apply to the products and orders they offer. Cross Your Arts may request information reasonably needed to evaluate an application, verify identity or business details, confirm product rights or safety, and operate the marketplace. This may include:
Legal name and, if applicable, business or assumed name; current contact information; and required tax, payout, identity, or bank verification through Cross Your Arts or its service providers.
A description of the shop and products, original product photographs or samples, production and sourcing information, and any production partner or supplier details required for the listing.
Confirmation that the applicant can fulfill orders, meet stated processing and shipping times, respond to customer and Cross Your Arts messages, and comply with applicable laws and this policy.
Acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions and Seller Agreement, and completion of any required onboarding steps.
Cross Your Arts may accept, decline, pause, limit, or end an application or seller’s access for any lawful business reason, subject to applicable law and any binding agreement. Reasons may include incomplete or unverifiable information; products or listings that do not fit Cross Your Arts’ published categories or standards; safety, legal, intellectual-property, fraud, or customer-trust concerns; inability to meet marketplace service needs; repeated policy violations; or category capacity and marketplace needs. Cross Your Arts may decide which categories, shops, or listings to offer, feature, or discontinue. Cross Your Arts will apply its stated criteria consistently and will not make decisions on a basis prohibited by applicable law. This policy does not authorize unlawful discrimination or waive any rights that cannot legally be waived.
2. Product and listing standards
Every product and listing must meet these standards throughout its time on Cross Your Arts:
Lawful and safe. The product must be legal to offer and ship to the buyer, comply with applicable safety, labeling, warning, licensing, and consumer-protection requirements, and not be subject to an applicable recall or sales ban. Sellers must promptly remove recalled or unsafe products and notify Cross Your Arts if an order may be affected. Sellers must provide documentation reasonably requested to verify compliance; Cross Your Arts may set additional marketplace safety requirements.
Accurate and complete. Describe the product truthfully, including materials, dimensions, condition, customization, origin when required, production method, included items, care instructions, known limitations, and realistic processing and delivery estimates. Sellers must have a reasonable basis for stated shipping times, promptly tell buyers if they cannot meet them, and follow applicable delay, cancellation, and refund requirements through Cross Your Arts’ order process. Images must show the product offered and must not mislead shoppers.
Authentic and authorized. Sellers must own or have permission to use the products, photographs, text, names, logos, designs, and other material in their listings. Do not offer counterfeit, stolen, unauthorized, or misrepresented goods.
High quality and faith fit. Products must be high quality and represent, reflect, or support Christian faith while fitting Cross Your Arts’ published marketplace categories. High quality means appropriate materials and workmanship for the product’s stated use, careful finishing, no undisclosed material defects, and a product that matches its description and photographs. Products and listing content must also meet Cross Your Arts’ Christian-focused, family-friendly content standards. Cross Your Arts may reject or remove content that conflicts with those standards, including sexually explicit or suggestive material, profanity or obscenity, occult or demonic themes, graphic gore or violence, harassment or hate, frightening material directed at children, or content that mocks or disparages Christianity, Jesus, the Bible, or Cross Your Arts’ stated mission. These standards evaluate product quality and content, not a seller’s personal religious beliefs or identity.
Truthful claims. Do not make false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims, including health, safety, environmental, charitable, religious endorsement, or performance claims. Sellers are responsible for required substantiation, disclosures, and legally required labels. Do not state or imply that a product or seller is endorsed by Cross Your Arts unless Cross Your Arts has expressly approved that statement.
Seller responsibility. The seller is responsible for product quality, required permits and registrations, taxes, packaging, shipping restrictions, and compliance with laws that apply to the product and destination. Cross Your Arts’ listing review or approval does not certify legal compliance or product safety.
3. Prohibited products and listings
The following may not be listed, sold, promoted, or fulfilled through Cross Your Arts. The content standards in Section 2 also apply. This list may be updated, and Cross Your Arts may remove a product when it reasonably believes a listing creates legal, safety, intellectual-property, or marketplace-trust concerns:
Illegal goods, stolen property, counterfeit goods, products recalled or banned from sale, or products whose sale or shipment is otherwise prohibited.
Products that infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, patent, publicity, privacy, or other rights, or use a person’s name, image, logo, or work without required authorization.
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapon-making materials, and other weapons or dangerous items prohibited by Cross Your Arts or applicable law.
Controlled substances, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, cannabis products, tobacco, nicotine products, vaping products, and alcohol.
Explicit sexual content or products, exploitative or non-consensual material, or content that threatens or targets a person or group with harassment or violence.
Human remains or body parts, live animals, or products made from protected wildlife or species where sale is restricted or unlawful.
Gift cards, stored-value or cash-equivalent products, payment instruments, money transfers, gambling, raffles, or other regulated financial or chance-based offerings.
Products or listings that falsely claim endorsement, donation, charitable status, or affiliation with Cross Your Arts, a church, ministry, public figure, or other organization.
Food products, including homemade, baked, prepared, and packaged foods, are currently prohibited on Cross Your Arts.
Restricted categories require Cross Your Arts’ written approval before listing and may require documentation of licenses, testing, insurance, labels, warnings, or other compliance. Restricted categories include, for example, cosmetics, supplements, products making health or therapeutic claims, children’s products, electrical products, and other regulated goods. Requirements differ by product and by whether a seller makes, imports, or resells the item; Cross Your Arts may request documentation appropriate to the product and seller’s role. Cross Your Arts may decline these categories or require additional safeguards. A seller must not list a restricted product while approval is pending.
4. Seller conduct
Sellers must act honestly, respectfully, and professionally in all activity connected to Cross Your Arts. Sellers must:
Keep shop, product, production, pricing, inventory, and contact information current and accurate.
Honor listed prices, policies, processing times, shipping commitments, and accepted orders; notify customers promptly about material delays or problems; and work in good faith to resolve order issues. If the seller cannot ship by the promised date, the seller must follow Cross Your Arts’ process and applicable law for notice, delay consent, cancellation, and prompt refunds.
Communicate respectfully with shoppers and Cross Your Arts. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, retaliate against, spam, or mislead anyone.
Do not create, buy, sell, or knowingly use fake or false reviews or testimonials; offer compensation or benefits in exchange for a review expressing a particular positive or negative sentiment; threaten or pressure a buyer over an honest review; or suppress or manipulate reviews or ratings. Any incentive or connection associated with a review must be handled and disclosed as required by law. Do not create fake orders or feedback, interfere with another seller, manipulate search placement, or use bots or other deceptive practices.
Follow Cross Your Arts’ marketplace rules for payments and orders. Do not use listings, messages, package inserts, QR codes, links, coupons, or other means to divert a Cross Your Arts shopper or order that originated on the marketplace to an outside transaction or payment channel. Do not ask a buyer to cancel a Cross Your Arts order and complete it elsewhere.
Use buyer information only as needed to fulfill and support the relevant order and as allowed by the Cross Your Arts Privacy Policy and applicable law. Protect it from unauthorized access, do not add buyers to unrelated marketing lists without required consent, and do not sell or disclose it. Delete or securely dispose of buyer information when no longer needed, except as retention is required by law or a legitimate order, tax, or dispute record.
Use seller names, logos, product photos, shop stories, and other seller-provided materials in Cross Your Arts marketing only as authorized by the separate Seller Marketing Authorization or other written permission. Sellers must have the rights needed to provide those materials.
5. Review and enforcement
Cross Your Arts may review applications, shops, listings, communications, and reported concerns; request supporting documents; and take action when needed to protect shoppers, sellers, Cross Your Arts, or compliance with law. Depending on the circumstances, action may include requesting changes or information, rejecting or removing a listing, limiting a product category, pausing shop activity, restricting account features, suspending or ending seller access, or reporting suspected unlawful activity to appropriate authorities. Urgent safety, security, or legal concerns may require immediate action. Any payment hold, reserve, refund, or other funds action will be handled under the Seller Agreement, payment-provider rules, and applicable law.
Where practical and legally permitted, Cross Your Arts may notify the seller of an action and the general reason. A seller may contact contact@crossyourarts.com to ask Cross Your Arts to review an action, providing the shop name, affected listing or order, and relevant information. Cross Your Arts may request additional details. Nothing in this section limits a right or process required by law.
6. Changes and contact
Cross Your Arts may update this policy by posting a revised version and updating its effective or last-updated date. Changes apply as stated in the notice and as permitted by law. Continued use of the marketplace after an effective update means the seller agrees to the updated policy to the extent permitted by law and the applicable Seller Agreement.
